1. How long have you been a part of The River?

I have been a part of The River for about 7 years. I have served in the kids area for most of that time. Checking with Stuart on how long I’ve been director. I think almost 4 years, since 2017.

2. Where did you grow up?

I have lived in Fort Wayne my entire life!! Lol

3. What does your position entail?

I am in charge of our infant through fifth graders. I schedule people for weekly needed positions in all areas. I print lessons and gather materials needed for Sunday mornings. I email leaders that work with my k-5 the lessons every week for them to look over. I assist where needed on Sunday mornings if a position is not covered or if there just needs to be another adult in a room.

4. What do you love most about The River?

I love that it feels like a family! There are so many people that love and support my son and I! I love how I can take what is taught on Sunday mornings and apply it to my week. I really enjoy our churches heart to serve.

5. What do you like to do during your free time?

I like to work out. I enjoy reading. I spend time with friends and family. Trying to learn how to take care of my landscaping!

6. What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

This is my 21st year teaching school.

7. What is your favorite scripture?

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬ — I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
